Tell your Senator to protect BLM rules against natural gas waste

Last year, the Bureau of Land Management finalized a rule that would limit methane pollution on our public lands. While oil and gas companies have been wasting natural gas, Westerners have been losing out on hundreds of millions of royalties.

But some members of the Senate just can’t accept a balanced approach for industry and local businesses. They refuse to see that giving oil companies incentives to capture and sell methane is not only good for communities, it’s good for business.

Now, the Senate wants to let oil and gas companies off the hook with a Congressional Review Act (CRA) vote that could permanently restrict our ability to cut back on waste. We deserve better – senators cannot be allowed to sell out Western taxpayers to the oil and gas industry.

Call your senator and make sure they are on the right side of this vote. Type your phone number into the box and you’ll receive a call from us. We’ll make sure you know what to say and then we’ll connect you to your senator – make sure to tell him or her to protect the progress we’ve made and oppose the BLM CRA.
