Take Action Now

Take action this Giving Tuesday: Oppose the Grand Staircase-Escalante sell-off!

This Giving Tuesday, we don’t need your money. We need you to take action.

In yet another assault on our public lands, Secretary Ryan Zinke’s Interior Department plans to open the Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument in Utah to mining, oil, and gas leasing.

The Trump administration’s loyalty to their special interest buddies in the fossil fuel industry is clear — but there’s still something we can do to fight this decision. The 90-day public comment period is OPEN, and members of the public can submit comments opposing mining, oil and gas leasing on Grand Staircase-Escalante here.

Our public lands are our nation’s greatest treasure, and Secretary Zinke’s Interior Department is trying to sell them off to the highest bidder.

Grand Staircase-Escalante has already come under assault once when the Trump administration shrunk it along with Bears Ears National Monument last year, in the largest reduction of national monuments in U.S. history. We can’t let mining and oil and gas drilling threaten these special places even further!

We need your help now. Take action and submit comments to protect public lands in the Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument. Comments close November 30th so don’t wait!
