As the global pandemic rages, the Trump administration has quietly pushed forward hundreds of sweeping regulatory changes that benefit industry, hurt consumers, and have virtually nothing to do with the fight against Coronavirus.
That’s the message Accountable.US President Kyle Herrig will deliver at a House Natural Resources digital forum today at a House Natural Resources Committee Digital Forum at 1:00 PM ET.
“President Trump claims that his administration is doing everything they can to fight Coronavirus, but when you look under the hood. it’s clear that that’s just not the case,” said Herrig. “Our investigations have found that when it comes to fighting Coronavirus, Interior and the rest of the government is either asleep at the wheel, or worse, using the pandemic to jam through a host of pro-industry policies. Not only do these measures have nothing to do with fighting the pandemic, but they will actually make life harder for Americans who need support.”
