Politico is reporting that while Interior Secretary Ryan Zinke prepares to head out of his $139,000 office doors, he’s exploring a role with Fox News. While Western Values Project has never taken a position on entertainment-industry negotiations, we feel that this is one we need to weigh in on.

“Western Values Project has long said that Ryan Zinke is a danger to our public lands. From our perspective, we will all be better off when Zinke has moved on from public service and is able to spend all of his time on his true passion: self-promotion,” said Western Values Project Executive Director Chris Saeger. “We strongly endorse Zinke’s attempted move to Fox News and hope he makes the transition as soon as possible.”
