we need more than promises

Help us keep the pressure on

For over five decades, the Land and Water Conservation Fund (LWCF) has been one of the most important and popular programs for protecting and conserving public lands, maintaining and creating parks and providing access to lands — especially in Western states like Arizona, Colorado, and Montana.

The LWCF has invested $243 million and supported more than 30 projects to improve public lands in Arizona. In Colorado, it’s invested $278.6 million and supported nearly 50 projects. And in Montana, the LWCF has invested more than $619.7 million and supported nearly 40 projects, including improvements to the state’s two national parks.

But right now, Western Senators Martha McSally (R-AZ), Cory Gardner (R-CO), and Steve Daines (R-MT) are dragging their feet when it comes to making sure the LWCF is fully funded going forward. They promised to support it, but we need action.

That’s why we’re launching a multi-platform ad campaign in Arizona, Colorado, and Montana, calling on these senators to follow through on their promise to permanently and fully fund the LWCF.

If they aren’t just making promises for political gain, these Western senators need to stand up to the Trump administration blocking LWCF funding and be a visible champion for their constituents and America’s public lands.

We’re planning to keep the pressure on, but we need your voice too. Will you sign this petition to tell Senators McSally, Gardner, and Daines to permanently and fully fund America’s most effective public lands, public access, and parks tool?
